Shirl began with CAPS as Administrative Assistant at 100 Clinton Avenue. She was promoted to Program Director in 2010. She successfully manages a 9 bed facility for homeless men with an Axis 1 diagnosed mental illness. Through a unique combination consisting of compassion and a stern no-nonsense approach to guiding the residents, she creates a home like environment for them and helps them thrive to make changes that improve their lives. Because of her management 100 Clinton is safe, organized and clean, creating increased stability for the men that live there.
